Do you remember that fad a while back with the bracelets and other apparel that had WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) on them? That was a good idea to keep fresh on people’s minds it’s a shame that it was taken over by the “promise rings”. With all the controversy and adversity in the world today, it only seems proper to reflect that frustration with the addition of WTF.
The return of the consummate persona described in Jesus Christ requires the arrival of the most demonic persona, the Son of Perdition who, like Judas, has experienced a certain closeness to God and has a good understanding of salvation, but then denies it. Instead of bearing good fruit, he bears “thorns and thistles.” This is a person who sees the path to salvation, which is trusting in God’s grace to cover sin, and instead either flatly denies the existence of God or denies God’s gift of salvation, preferring to pay his own debt. The usurpation of man’s best efforts to create an ideal state carry with it the seeds of the usurpers own demise.
“There are three friendships which are advantageous, and three which are injurious. Friendship with the upright; friendship with the sincere; and friendship with the man of much observation:– these are advantageous. Friendship with the man of specious airs; friendship with the insinuatingly soft; and friendship with the glib-tongued:– these are injurious.”- Confucius
“If one finds a person who points out one’s faults and who reproves one, one should follow such a wise and sagacious counselor as one would a guide to hidden treasure” (Dhammapada. 76).
“God does not forbid you to be kind and equitable to those who have neither fought against your faith nor driven you out of your homes. In fact God loves the equitable.” Qur’an:60:8
We the People in 1984 BEHOLD! The Pale Horse of Kali Yuga and the Bane of the One Ring of Power in the Fires of Armajihadden
I love a good story. Back from when I was a kid my Grandma would read to me from a collection of Grimm’s fairy tales almost every night, on the occasions I would stay, as I went to sleep. “Is this story real?”, I had probably asked at some point with the response maybe all children get when they ask such things, “Anything is possible in the realm of make-believe.”
I don’t claim to be an apologetics writer, but I’m sure the title indicates, as was my intention a “mash-up”, so to speak, of a few religious prophecies and two works of fiction. Dystopian 1984, the book of Revelation from the Christian Bible, Canto 12 The Age of Deterioration from the Hindu Srimad Bhagavadam, the fate of the One Ring of Power at the end of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and Jihad: the Holy War of Islam.
I think that any kind of prediction of future events no matter how open to interpretation, held to scientific precedent, or of reputable belief are always open to change especially if the will and means are there to do so in the “realm of make-believe” anything is possible.
I’ll briefly describe the circumstances and characteristics of each work and how it may apply to the “Espiritu de la epoca”, or spirit of the age, in today’s world. I’ll begin with 1984 that clearly does not end “happily ever after” unless of course you love Big Brother and don’t mind your fellow citizens dumbed-down to cerebral insufficients.
The main character Winston works in the Ministry of Truth, one of four ministries, for the ruling party in the nation of Oceania. The Ministry of Truth’s main function is to alter historical records to benefit the party and image of Big Brother. Work is also underway to implement Newspeak, a language meant to prevent political rebellion by taking out all words related to it. Winston knows something is wrong in the Party and they should be stopped. He starts keeping a secret journal to write his “criminal” thoughts. Oceania is one of three super powers of the world; the other two are Eastasia and Eurasia. The Ministry of Peace actually sustains a perpetual state of war with the other two. The Ministry of Plenty is in control of all the food supply and rations it out. Party members receive more than their share of luxury but are under constant surveillance by the Thought Police. The proles, or proletariats, in the book live in squalor but live generally unmonitored and have been de-educated enough to not have the capacity or sense of history to rebel against the party. Emmanuel Goldstein is the supposed leader of an underground rebellion called The Brotherhood. The secret journal, an affair with a lady named Julia, and a trap set by a co-worker named O’Brien to catch them in an open act of rebellion send them to the Ministry of Love. In the Ministry of Love, where those who might rebel, are tortured, brainwashed, and ultimately spirit-broken. Winston gets separated from Julia and adamantly resists for months until he pleads to O’Brien for Julia to take his place thus signaling his allegiance, betraying his love for Julia, he loved Big Brother.
Today the media loves to pretend that the Democrats and Republicans are in a constant power struggle for control of the house or senate every two years we see a barrage of commercials and accusations of “smear campaigns and mud slinging”. It really heats up in a presidential election year. with the presidential debates as the centerpiece. The supposed non-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates has former chairman of the Republican National Committee, Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., and Mike McCurry, former Democratic press secretary for Bill Clinton as co-chairs of the commission. Sounds bi-partisan not non-partisan to me. The Commission’s mission states it was established in 1987 to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners. I underlined possible because in Black’s Law Dictionary means capable of existing or happening. Any information is capable of existing or happening, the possibilities are endless. It looks like confusing legal language, the Newspeak of 1984, is legalese today capable of making non-issues a tool for dissension among Americans against each other. Top it all off with the final exam needed today to practice law in the US, the BAR exam, whether you get the story of the bar in historical British courts to separate the lawyer to represent their case from the rest, BAR standing for British Accreditation Regency/Registry, or that’s a silly suggestion, it’s too close for comfort and Americans need to get to the bottom of it. Don’t take my word for it, take a part of George Washington’s farewell address for it,
“I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.
This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.
The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.”
The book of Revelation and the Hindu Kali Yuga bear remarkable similarities despite there fundamental differences. Each have four distinct separations, Revelation in regards to Israel: Alpha, Scattered, Regathered in Unbelief, A Remnant Saved, and Omega/New Jerusalem. Jesus Christ is the Alpha and the Omega with incarnations and resurrections similar to the Hindu Krishna. In Hindu prophecy, Satya Yuga or age of Truth lasts 4,000 divine years, Treta Yuga (3/4 Truth) for 3,000 divine years, Dvapara (1/2 Truth) for 2,000 divine years, and Kali Yuga (1/4 Truth) for 1,000 divine years. There is 432 earth years to one divine year in Hindu cosmology.
Satya Yuga/Alpha is characterized by 100% self-realization in man and complete meditation on God. Treta Yuga/scattered is characterized by a process of sacrifice for self-realization. Dvapara yuga/regathered in unbelief is characterized by self-realization by the worship of deities in temples. Kali Yuga/ a remnant saved is characterized by quarrel and hypocrisy. Self-realization is found in the chanting or singing of his Holy names.
Armageddon and the Satya Yuga/ Kali Yuga conjunction are almost like brothers of tales as well with Christ’s victory,”That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19 18-20. Krishna in his Kalki avatar incarnation arriving to slay all the treacherous ones in SB 12.2.19-20: “Lord Kalki, the Lord of the universe, will mount His swift horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, travel over the earth exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying His unequaled effulgence and riding with great speed, He will kill by the millions those thieves who have dared dress as kings”.who Revelation 19 11-13 describe,”And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
Satya Yuga begins again according to the Srimad Bhagavadam and A new Heaven and a new Earth with New Jerusalem as it’s great city in Revelation where everybody lives “Happily ever After”.
The other work of fiction in this “mash-up” comes from J.R.R. Tolkien and the story behind the One Ring of Power. In the mythology of Middle Earth there were nineteen rings of power crafted by the Elf Celebrimbor and Sauron who was on good behavior at the time. Three were for the elves and were never touched by Sauron, Seven to the dwarves, and nine given to the rulers of men who later became the Nazgul. Sauron crafted the twentieth One Ring in secret with the motive to contol all the other rings and their possessors. The whole story of the third age of Middle earth revolves around the mission to destroy the One Ring who Bilbo Baggins “stole” from Gollum, later Smaegol, in the Hobbit. The Climactic battle in the Return of the King provides the cover for Frodo to make his way to Mount Doom where Smaegol’s last grab, or I should say bite, at it sends him falling to his doom as well as the Ring bringing about the fourth age or the dominion of men.
What could a ring of power could mean in the real world? Imagine if each society on the globe had a religion, economy, philosophy, something to keep things in order in that culture unique to them. Couldn’t it be considered a ring of power? Now what could control those sovereign states all at once with some not even knowing what’s happening? Money can do that, not just any money but fiat currency. In fact, America may be like the beast influenced by Britain the dragon from Revelation today or Sauron acting as Melkor’s regent in the LOTR. Fiat currency and the abhorrent practice of usury may be the influence of Kali Yuga in a society where paying interest debt justifies the whole business of moral debasement and makes it profitable.
One religion that hates usury and the people that hoard riches worse than adultery, is Islam who seems to be America’s sworn enemy on the world stage since the Mujajideen ousted Russia from Afghanistan in the 80’s.
The Repentance 9:34-35, “O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty. Proclaim a woeful punishment to those that hoard up gold and silver…. Their treasures shall be heated in the dress of Hell, and their foreheads, sides and backs branded with them. . . . ‘Taste then the punishment which is your due.”
The Cow 2:275, “Those who consume interest cannot stand [on the Day of Resurrection] except as one stands who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say, “Trade is [just] like interest.” But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest. So whoever has received an admonition from his Lord and desists may have what is past, and his affair rests with Allah. But whoever returns to [dealing in interest or usury] – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein.”
“…They will be paraded before your Lord in ranks: “You have come to Us just as We created you at first. Yes indeed! Even though you claimed that We would not fix a time with you.” The Book will be set in place and you will see the evildoers fearful of what is in it. They will say, “Alas for us! What is this Book which does not pass over any action, small or great, without recording it?” They will find there everything they did and your Lord will not wrong anyone at all.” (Al-Kahf 18: 48-49)
Islamic Jihadists have a happily ever after too.
All three Abrahamic faiths: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are in a severe state of unrest in 2014 even though they come from the same lineage. All America and it’s interests seem to play the situation in the Middle East as a profitable endeavor for the military-industrial complex. The Defense Department acts like a Ministry of Peace. With so many people in the world who have such strong beliefs killing each other, are they make-believing a spiritual war leading to this Armajihadden? Let’s make believe a chance to throw the One Ring of Power into Mount Doom and listen to His-story, before a government of total authoritarian control like 1984, where our higher power is “Loved” out of us, can be make-believed into existence?
Can we all live happily ever after?
The principle of compassion lies at the heart of all religious, ethical and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the centre of our world and put another there, and to honour the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.
It is also necessary in both public and private life to refrain consistently and empathically from inflicting pain. To act or speak violently out of spite, chauvinism, or self-interest, to impoverish, exploit or deny basic rights to anybody, and to incite hatred by denigrating others—even our enemies—is a denial of our common humanity. We acknowledge that we have failed to live compassionately and that some have even increased the sum of human misery in the name of religion.
We therefore call upon all men and women to restore compassion to the centre of morality and religion ~ to return to the ancient principle that any interpretation of scripture that breeds violence, hatred or disdain is illegitimate ~ to ensure that youth are given accurate and respectful information about other traditions, religions and cultures ~ to encourage a positive appreciation of cultural and religious diversity ~ to cultivate an informed empathy with the suffering of all human beings—even those regarded as enemies.
We urgently need to make compassion a clear, luminous and dynamic force in our polarized world. Rooted in a principled determination to transcend selfishness, compassion can break down political, dogmatic, ideological and religious boundaries. Born of our deep interdependence, compassion is essential to human relationships and to a fulfilled humanity. It is the path to enlightenment, and indispensable to the creation of a just economy and a peaceful global community.
In the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “A time comes when silence is betrayal.” America’s involvement in Vietnam was King’s motivation for his Beyond Vietnam speech where he urged his fellow citizens to question American foreign policy and its motives in Vietnam.
50+ years beyond Vietnam silence as a form of betrayal is still relevant as it always seems to of been. Ancient philosophers, prophets, and historians broke the silence between generations when they were compelled to write their findings. In the 21st century, the world has a rich history which displays our interconnectedness and with the technological age is making us more so.
The average citizen is led to believe things are how they are for a reason which may be true and that is enough for most to adapt and deal with many things but further investigation can deduce whether sound reasoning or fallacious reasoning is at our employ. A responsibility those of us in a Representative Republic delegate to elected representatives who are believed to make decisions based on the most sound reasoning and moral judgement being people of higher education and a religious upbringing yet it seems profits and favors have taken sound reasoning and moral judgement’s place.
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered . . . I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” – Thomas Jefferson
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matt. 21:12-13
Defiling a damsel, usury, breaking a vow, selling a tank, a garden, one’s wife, or child, Manu Smriti: 11:62
Quran: 2:275. Those who devour USURY will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: “Trade is like usury,” but God hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for God (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).
Usury has been documented throughout historical and religious texts from the Vedas to the Quran. Usury is referred to as a devourer of children in some cases. Americans see this metaphor in the form of debt passed to their children accrediting the debt to a political party’s failed fiscal policy rather than the root cause. 100 years after the passage of the Federal Reserve Act we find ourselves in the throes of a vicious cycle of compounding interest, inflation, bankruptcies, cyclical consumption, planned obsolescence, class stratification and debt passed to present capabilities as well as future enterprise. The antithesis of economy which, by definition, is to strategically preserve and create efficiency. The American government’s policies reflect a government that restrains our vices as well as restrains our virtues and innate ingenuity perhaps to a greater extent.
The Zeitgeist Movement faq states, “The entire global economy requires “cyclical consumption” to operate, which means that money must constantly be circulating. Thus, new goods and services must be constantly introduced regardless of the state of the environment and actual human necessity.” Another fallacious facet is the “cost efficiency mechanism that demands cutting expenses to remain “competitive” in the marketplace which affects quality of the product and makes it immediately inferior.” Those of us who have bought a new car and joke of the value of the new car being cut in half as soon as you drive off the lot have acknowledged this in an offhanded way.
I gather anyone who has excelled at a profession can bring to attention inefficient practices in their business that is justified and kept quiet for profit. This silence condones participation and betrays the common sense of the citizen. When thought of in broader terms, betrayal of the past and posterity also presents itself.
The average citizen is led to believe government institutions require confidentiality and security clearance to insure public safety and national security. A task of increasing difficulty as technology and its accessibility has increased. The US military budgets $ 1 billion B-2 Spirit Stealth to drop 30,000 lbs. “massive ordinance penetrators” on objectives worth fractions of the cost in dollar or moral terms. Wars are essentially the ultimate display of human intellectual, diplomatic, and moral failure. The Trident submarine carries the equivalent of 192 Hiroshima bombs. Is there a threat that justifies this level of armament? Meanwhile, in the name of homeland security, citizens undergo increased surveillance and presence of security personnel. It seems the social organism called government has equipped itself for self preservation.
“Government is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.” George Washington
The dangerous servant has become the fearful master and is rarely viewed as possessor of an appetite for destruction and a gluttony for Power with an ingratiating media. The society envisioned for America’s future that joins the citizens in their affections is doomed for revolution with the world as the stage.
“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – You may know that your society is doomed.” — Ayn Rand, “Atlas Shrugged”, 1957
“…A REVOLUTION IS COMING….a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough, compassionate if we care enough, successful if we are fortunate enough, but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its Character, we cannot alter its inevitability. ” – Robert Kennedy, in a speech to the Senate
This is not a conspiracy theory or an apocalypse scenario in accordance with any faith. It is evidence of a systemic value-system disorder predicated upon usury and its side effects. We have the ability to observe and define these side effects in unprecedented detail shedding light on the vicious cycle as it presently exists: the justification of inefficiency, scarcity, and unjust enterprise in the effort to repay interest bearing debt, the same interest that does not exist in the money supply outright.
A revolution capable of breaking this vicious cycle must be of consummate character equal to the deficiency of character witnessed. With peaceful civil disobedience, an empathic practical wisdom, and a compassionate education campaign with a customizable curriculum; what might be a tremendous “leap of faith” could be a “leap of trusted calculation.”
A proper beginning, I suppose, would be a definition of irony. 3a(1)– incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result.
“In God We Trust” should be taken off of American money. I’ve witnessed fundamentalists become irate over the proposition like they had been assaulted but let me assure you that God, Trust, and Money do not mix and “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” I’ll try to explain this irony in a language the fundamentalist can understand.
In the West, some of us are taught near the beginning of our intellectual and spiritual development the 10 Commandments . The first, second, and third, are the most difficult to grasp, even into adulthood, and with these the irony rests.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Acceptance of contradictions to all three of these condition the progeny of these commandments to the evils they are meant to provide a weapon against the degradation of individual sovereignty.
Those who make unto themselves a crucifix or any other likeness found anywhere in any religion or any word of any language or any constellation to depict a “God” does contradict the 2nd commandment but these practices are viewed as a badge of courage and understanding to the faithful. If you can be brought to believe preposterous things without witnessing them, then you can be brought to witness preposterous things you don’t believe in.
The love of money is the root of all evil yet the God we are to love with all our mind, heart, and soul’s “name” is printed on all our money, and Trust. The same type of system, we call it Fractional Reserve, usurious one, that various historical accounts consider a slow but sure form of social death. Ezekial 18:13 goes so far as to say the man who lends money at interest , is to be put to death. We could forego the death penalty today, but the dire warnings should be heard and acted upon.
“In God We Trust” should be taken off our money and in its stead be replaced with a warning that the allure of material possession and social position will rob all concerned of our true value in society. “In God We Trust” acts as a subterfuge to a usurious economic structure.
Imagine a 200 billion piece jigsaw puzzle. Every piece is cut roughly the same shape and represents a piece that every individual has responsibility for. The image that the puzzle becomes depends on the history and lives of the piece holders. Every piece fitting and relative to the whole within a border represents the Laws of Nature .
A reasonable approach to assembly may be to begin with the border pieces which are usually straight. With the border assembled, then separate pieces of like color and hue and begin to assemble those pieces by the fit and consistency of their design. You should have a few “colonies” of pieces after a while, that represent civilizations around the globe. As pieces keep being added, civilizations merge, one by one, and connect to the border revealing greater clarity of the big picture. That is unless a man-made disaster or natural disaster disturbs or sets back the process in which the image is subject to change. History has shown such disasters of both the man-made and natural. To quote Edmund Burke, “Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.”
As a child, my parents attended a Church of Christ in Great Bridge, VA. I underwent questioning, by the pastor, before my baptism at the age of 8 in which I accepted Jesus as my personal lord and saviour. I later discovered it isn’t that simple. I have a respect for the message Jesus is written to of gave the world. The “red words” of the Bible, in particular, have stuck with me throughout my studies and as an American, Judeo-Christian values have had an impact in my life. Let every one who can read this understand that a closer advancement to a “Kingdom of Heaven” is here.
I do not take Jesus’ virgin birth literal truth. Figuratively, of course, Jesus was a Son of God very much like other cultures who give high titles to their great ones, an example would be, Siddhartha Gautama , who in Buddhism , is the greatest Buddha. Literally, however, I believe they are men with a mission. Like Newton is to Calculus, like Stephen Hawking is to theoretical physics, like Aristotle is to Logic. The mission being higher knowing, a path to righteousness, less suffering, etc. for posterity.
I think Jesus probably studied at the Library of Alexandria prior to his return to Judea; and, with an abundance of knowledge, Jesus had a few tricks up his sleeve and a philosophy to rival the priests of his homeland and a plan to claim the role of the prophesized messiah.
In my experience, people focus more on Jesus’ divinity as God incarnate than the morals proposed by his teachings. The simplest rule is found in every respectable philosophy and religion: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
People quarrel over mincing of words and their translation . People fail to think of old ideas as relative to new ideas . People think without the big picture in mind. People are ignorant to logical fallacies prevalent in modern discourse. People anthropomorphize indescribable things and irrational behaviors and place blame on the imagined entity rather than a reasonable causality. People justify exclusion to those who may not ascribe to their ways of thought or mysteries surrounding their great men and forsake much a greater good in doing so.
In 2013, we live in an era at peril to great man-made disaster. Human kind’s potential for achievement is matched only by its mutually arising potential to destroy achievement. The capabilities of abundance of industry in our present day lies in the grasp of a monetary system that inhibits production capabilities, creates waste on a grand scale, and at its present state of misuse, creates social phenomena that puts us all at risk of repeated man-made suffering and disaster.
America, as the nation-child of what is called the Age of Enlightenment has a responsibility to the world, a responsibility that has been neglected and economically usurped by monetary corruption that has rooted itself deep into a motive for profit that justifies cyclical consumption, planned obsolescence, and multiple venues of abhorrent behaviour, across the board, for profit’s sake.
As in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares, the task is now at hand to harvest the history and available knowledge the sowers have planted, take an inventory of the Right and the Detrimental, destroy (but do not forget) the detrimental practices, and prepare the soil as best can be surmised for humankind’s posterity of which there is a global common heritage.
Organizations like the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project are spreading awareness in very scholarly ways and propose models to achieve sustainability for the whole planet going into the future.
Behold! The Kingdom of God is within you.
Buddhism’s Eightfold Path consists of eight distinct yet interconnected and integrated views or ways of actual personal existence.
From a Confucian perspective, one cannot live fully in the present without being fully responsible to the past, both in terms of paying respect to one’s ancestors and making the best of what they have left behind.Sethian Gnosticism and Platonic Tradition state that salvation is self-actualized and is an ever-present possibility.
